Me made Mittwoch - Mila

Da es nun hier wirklich kühl geworden ist, trage ich heute dieses Outfit: Knotenbolero Mila von Smila zu einem Kaufkleidchen. Dieses habe ich ohne den Bolero nur sehr wenig getragen, da das Oberteil irgendwie zu langweilig ist. So gefällt es mir schon viel besser.
Genäht in Gr. S aus grau braunem dünnem Viskosejersey vom Stoffmarkt.

As it is now already quite cool outside, I'm wearing this outfit today: knot- bolero Mila from Smila with a not-selfmade dress. This I worn very little without the bolero, because the top is too boring anyway. Now, I like it a lot better.
Sewn in size S from gray-brown thin viscose jersey from the fabric market.

Ich habe hier an allen Ausschnittkanten und Säumen beim Versäubern 8mm Framilonband mitgefasst (mit dem Gummibandfüßchen der Overlock geht das wunderbar) und dann einmal umgeschlagen und mit Gradstich abgesteppt. Das Framilonband gibt ein wenig Stabilität und die Kanten wellen sich nicht. So lässt sich auch der sehr flutschige Viskosejersey wirklich schön verarbeiten.
I have sewn 8mm Framilonband on at all cut-out edges and seams when serging  the raw edges (with the rubber band  foot from the serger this is really easy) and then once turned under edges and stitched with a straight stitch. The framilonband gives a little stability and the edges are not curling. So, its really easy to work with this very elastic fabric.

Kloster Made Teil II - Knotenbolero Mila

Weiter gehts: passend zum Imke Kleid sollte dieser Knotenbolero nach den Ebook von Smila werden. Farblich passt er auch ganz toll, nur sieht das Imke Kleid unter dem Bolero irgendwie seltsam aus. Es ist einfach zu viel Stoff  durch den gerafften Ausschnitt und das krumpelt.
More from the monastery: another Mila (by the e-pattern from Smila), which was supposed to fit the Imke dress. The color fits really well, but the Imke dress looks a bit weird under the bolero, because of the ruffled neckline. There is just a bit too much fabric.

Macht aber nichts, da ich in den Tiefen meines Kleiderschranks noch ein Kaufkleidchen gefunden habe, das ich sehr selten angezogen habe, da mir das Oberteil irgendwie zu langweilig war. Dazu passt diese Mila toll....

That doesn´t matter, because in the depths of my closet I yet found a dress, which I have not worn a lot, because I found the top was too boring anyway. This fits Mila great...

Me Made Mila

Auch wenn heute kein "offizieller" MMM ist, möchte ich doch etwas me made zeigen. Mila aus flutschigem Viskose Jersey, der für diesen Schnitt aber genau richtig ist. Ich bin begeistert von dem Schnitt. Mila ist  das erste Knoten-Oberteil, was ich je genäht und getragen habe (dachte immer, mir steht das gar nicht) und es gefällt mir richtig gut.
Ich habe zwei Träger-Kleider, die ich eigentlich selten trage, da sie obenrum doch sehr luftig sind. Dazu passt die Mila toll, wenn es mal nicht 30° sind :-).

Even though there is no "official" MMM today, I would like to show something me made​​. Mila made from really elastic viscose jersey, which is exactly the right fabric for this pattern. I am trilled with the pattern. Mila is the first knot-shirt, which I have ever sewn and worn (always thought this would not fit me) and I really like it.
I have two dressse with spaghtti straps, which I do not wear a lot, because its a bit too undressed. They go very well with the Mila, if it is not 30 degrees outside :-).
